Kane Williamson and Shubman Gill commended Virat Kohli when he surpassed Sachin Tendulkar’s record of 49 one-day international centuries. In the first World Cup semi-final in Mumbai, India defeated New Zealand by 70 runs with Kohli’s impressive score of 117 contributing to a total of 397 runs for the home team. “To play 50 games and score 50 hundreds – some would consider that an exceptional career. It’s hard to put into words,” Williamson expressed.
