Rare total eclipse of the sun darkens Mexico’s skies – video

Observers in Mazatlan were the first to witness a rare solar eclipse as the moon obscured the sun over Mexico. People in the US and Canada were also able to enjoy the spectacle. The previous one before that took place in 1979, and the next one visible in the US will not be until August 2044
