In 2015, Addario published a highly successful memoir titled It’s What I Do in The New York Times, which details her personal and professional journey as a photojournalist during the aftermath of 9/11. She also debuted her first solo photography collection, Of Love and War, in 2018. Paramount is currently producing a feature film based on her memoir that will focus on Addario’s life.
