Greta Thunberg, a climate activist from Sweden, was taken into custody in London for participating in a protest against a meeting known as the “Oscars of oil”. The event, organized by Fossil Free London, involved blocking the entrance to the InterContinental Park Lane hotel, where the Energy Intelligence Forum was taking place. This forum brings together leaders from the fossil fuel industry and government officials. According to the Metropolitan police, five individuals were arrested during the demonstration.
