Formula One is seeking clarification on Horner’s future with Red Bull at the earliest possible chance.

Formula One has called for Christian Horner’s Red Bull future to be “clarified at the earliest opportunity”. Horner’s role as Red Bull team principal remains in the balance after a claim of “inappropriate behaviour” by a female colleague.

At the car unveiling event for Red Bull Racing in Milton Keynes on Thursday, the 50-year-old maintained his strong denial of the accusations against him and stated that he will be present for the first race of the season in Bahrain on March 2nd.

A representative for F1 announced on Sunday evening that Red Bull has initiated an independent inquiry into internal accusations at their racing team. We anticipate that this matter will be resolved promptly and through a just and comprehensive procedure. We will refrain from making any additional statements at this time.

Horner stated that he could not give an estimate on the completion of the investigation being conducted by the parent company of the racing team, Red Bull GmBH.

Red Bull and Horner are eager for a quick resolution, and sources suggest that a decision may be reached by the end of the week. However, it is unlikely that a solution will be reached within the next two days.

On Wednesday, the testing for the latest campaign will commence in Bahrain. During the previous season, Red Bull emerged victorious in 21 out of 22 races, and Max Verstappen claimed his third consecutive world championship title.

When questioned about his presence in the Middle East for Verstappen’s first race aiming for a fourth world championship, Horner confirmed that he will indeed be in Bahrain. He also mentioned that preparations for the upcoming season have been keeping him busy.

My family is incredibly supportive, especially my wife. The support I have received from my colleagues and business partners has been immense, and I am also grateful for the overwhelming support from the industry.

I have complete faith in the procedures, which I have followed completely and will continue to do so. I strongly reject any accusations made against me. Everything is running as usual for me. If it weren’t, I wouldn’t be present.
