A video shows the emergence of a new island off the coast of Japan following a volcanic eruption.
Japan has acquired a new island due to an underwater volcanic eruption 1,200 km south of Tokyo. The small landmass appeared as a result of multiple eruptions that started last month near Iwoto island in the western Pacific’s Ogasawara island chain, as confirmed by specialists.
