Tonight on television, the popular comedy show “Big Boys” is making a long-awaited comeback on Channel 4.

Celebrate the comeback of Jack Rooke’s hilarious and heartwarming coming-of-age comedy. Jack (played by Dylan Llewellyn) and Danny (played by Jon Pointing) are entering their second year of university, but instead of searching for housing over the summer, they were too busy smoking marijuana with Jack’s fabulous mother, Peggy (played by Camille Coduri), and reading self-help books for gay individuals. Will they have to return to their celibate lives in the large blue shed? Written by Hollie Richardson.

icky Hatton, Hannah Spearitt from S Club and Claire Sweeney from Brookside are a few of the famous people participating in the rink this year. However, the main focus will be on Holly Willoughby who is making her return to television after leaving This Morning. She will be co-hosting with Stephen Mulhern, who is filling in for Phillip Schofield.

8pm, BBC One

In Poplar, there is a high demand for assistance as Edna, who is heavily pregnant, has been left by her husband, and Sahira, a new immigrant from Sylhet, is facing unexplained symptoms. Fortunately, there is an even greater supply of kindness and empathy. Nurse Highland provides comfort to Edna during her challenging delivery, and Nancy and Dr Turner work together to help Sahira find a solution to her health concerns. Brenda Blethyn’s character, a detective, is hindered by some repetitive scenes and a clear suspect in an otherwise engaging story. The murder of a troubled young woman must be solved by the cops, who first need to uncover her true identity.

Uairi, the deadly superfreak, may have released Helen, but we have not yet seen the end of him. Helen’s somewhat reformed ex-boyfriend Ethan is the last person he should encounter. However, there is also danger lurking elsewhere as Elliot, who is now aware of his son, becomes entangled in his family’s criminal activities.

Taskmaster: Champion of Champions 2024

Taskmaster Champion of Champions on Channel 4.

It is now time for the ultimate showdown, with the addition of Kiell Smith-Bynoe, in this special episode. Past winners Dara Ó Briain, Morgana Robinson, Sarah Kendall, Sophie Duker, and Smith-Bynoe (filling in for Mae Martin) will battle it out to claim the trophy shaped like the muscular body of Taskmaster himself, Greg Davies.
