Can you create the number 24 using only the numbers 1 to 9 and basic math operations? Here’s one possible solution that arranges all the digits correctly.

(123456 x 7) + 8 + 9

Novice level: discover an alternate method.

Expert level: discover an alternative method using the numbers in reverse sequence.

Here’s a method suggested by number expert Inder Taneja:

98 + 7 + 6 – 54 – 32 – 1

In each of the scenarios provided, the shapes A to L can be either solid colors or stencils (meaning they are squares with cutouts). The shape on the top is created by layering some combination of A to L. Your objective is to determine the stencils/blocks that were used and the sequence in which they were stacked.
